Why Am I Freezing?

Picture 23

The baby Polar Bear said to the Papa Polar Bear, “Dad, tell me the truth, am I really a polar bear, no brown bear, no black bear, no panda bear!?”

The Papa polar bear said, “Yes son, I am a polar bear, you mother is a polar bear and therefore, you are a polar bear”.

The son retorted, “C’mon Dad, you can be honest with me, I can take it, you can spare my feelings. Am I really a polar bear?

“Son, I would not kid you about that. You are definitely a polar bear? And, by the way, why do you keep asking if you’re a polar bear?”

“Because Dad, I’m freezing!”

The bottom line is this:  “You are a brand new creation. You are holy, you are righteous, you are no longer a sinner. You are a saint!

Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, to the saints who are at Ephesus and who are faithful in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 1:1).

I know sometimes you don’t “feel like” a Saint who is holy, righteous and set apart for Him, but it is the truth.

Here is a statement I do not want you to ever forget. “Feelings are neither right nor wrong, they’re perfectly okay to have, God gave them to you. But, remember this, feelings do not always line up with the truth!”

Just like the baby polar bear who was freezing, we sometimes need to be reminded who we are. It only makes sense you would act like a Saint, because that’s who you are. Now, how is that for “Living Lighter Today?”

Did you forget who you are anytime today? If so, let me know how God spoke truth to you?
