God Is Not Opposed To Riches

SLIPPERY HANDS

The Bible offers 500 verses on prayer, fewer than 500 verses on faith, and more than 2,000 verses on money. If we include the words gold, silver, wealth, riches, inheritance, debt, poverty, and related topics, it turns out that the Bible pays a great deal of attention to financial matters – more than nearly any other subject.

God must want us to manage His monies wisely through the Holy Spirit!

HERE ARE SOME PASSAGES WARNING ABOUT RICHES:

“Keep your lives free from the love of money and learn to be content with what you have, because God has said, ‘Never will I leave you’.”(Hebrews 13:5)

“Do not wear yourself out to get rich; have the wisdom to show restraint. Cast but a glance at riches, and they are gone, for they will surely sprout wings and fly off to the sky like an eagle.” (Proverbs 23:4-5)

HERE ARE SOME PASSAGES WITH GOD’S POSITION ABOUT HIS RICHES AND MANAGING THEM PROPERLY:

Be diligent to know the state of your flocks, and attend to your herds.” (Proverbs 27:23)

“For which of you, intending to build a tower, does not sit down first and count the cost, whether he has enough to finish it—lest, after he has laid the foundation, and is not able to finish, all who see it begin to mock him, saying, ‘This man began to build and was not able to finish’?” (Luke 14:28–30)

HERE ARE SOME PASSAGES ABOUT SAVINGS:

“Go to the ant, O sluggard, observe her ways and be wise, which, having no chief, officer or ruler, prepares her food in the summer and gathers her provision in the harvest.” (Proverbs 6:6-8)

“The plans of the diligent lead surely to plenty, but those of everyone who is hasty, surely to poverty.” (Proverbs 21:5)

A PROPHETIC WORD

God gave me a prophetic word many years ago about slippery hands. He said, “I am bringing about a financial transfer and those who have “slippery hands” will experience the riches of the kingdom of heaven. I will pour my finances into oily hands. Oily hands cause slippery hands and come from intimacy with the Holy Spirit.”

Slippery hands are unlocked and released in the presence and intimacy of the Holy Spirit. The oil of intimacy is the key to His treasure vault. God is not opposed to finances, He believes in us stewarding His monies, land, commodities and alike.

God will not pour out His finances so our pockets can be lined, but so we can become funnels of everything He wants to do. He will flow His finances into slippery hands and slippery hands will release you into “Living Lighter Today”.

QUESTION OF THE DAY:

What are your thoughts about slippery hands?
